This conveyor provides a convenient sage means of loading produce into an eliminator, a washer or a dry-brusher.  It is adjustable in height and equipped with a smooth white rubber belt.  Flared sides contribute to the ease of loading either over the end or over the side.  A rubber covered discharge plate carries the produce from the belt to the next station in the processing line.  The belt is powered by the adjacent washer or dry brusher or can be fitted with its own motor.
 

With a washer, the grower-packer can process wet or dry produce.  Produce can be packed directly from wet orchard or field, or from cold storage.  A washer is also more effective than a dry brusher in removing spray residue.  The Tew washer contains twelve 3 1/2" diameter brushes in 3" 10" frame.  The 1650 washer uses from 1 to 3 G.P.M. and the 2450 washer from 2 to 5 G.P.M.
 

To remove excess water from the produce as it leaves the washer and permit continuous processing, the Tew water absorber uses seven donut-style rolls.  It is powered by washer.
